Terms and conditions

Using audio guides in the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk means you have accepted these terms and conditions.

The cost of renting a single audio guide is 12 PLN (individual tour). The cost of borrowing a tour guide set is 7 PLN (per person). The audio guide is available in the following languages: Polish, English, German, French, Ukrainian, Spanish and Russian. Visitors with sight can use the material in Polish Sign Language (PJM), while those with sight impairments can use the audio description.

The audio guide can be used in the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk. The audio guide cannot be removed from the facility.

In order to receive an audio guide, please produce a ticket you bought at the audio guide rental point or proof of an online transaction. Online tickets can be bought at muzeum1939.audioprzewodnik.pl. Paying for an audio guide does not mean you have bought an admission ticket to the exhibition.

You can collect your audio guide no later than one hour before the closing time.

The device should be returned no later than at the closing time on the same day when it was borrowed.

The employee at the rental point must instruct the visitor on how to operate the audio guide, and provide a device that is fully operable and in order.

When renting an audio guide, the borrower shall inspect its technical condition and report any defects to the employee at the rental point.

The borrower shall be fully liable, legally and financially, for any loss of or damage to the rented audio guide, and must return it in a condition not worse than that at the time of collection.

The borrower shall immediately report any defects in the operation of the audio guide to the employees at the rental point.

In matters not regulated in these terms and conditions, the provisions of the Polish Civil Code shall apply.

Personal data

The Controller of your personal data is MOVITECH Ł. MARZEC I WSPÓLNICY SP.J. (VAT EU 5170311227) with the seat in Kraków. Your personal data will be processed by the Data Controller in order for you to be able to rent the audio guides in the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk. Providing personal data is voluntary, but at the same time necessary for us to ensure the abovementioned service. Although it is voluntary to provide the data, a failure to do so will exclude the possibility of providing the abovementioned service. Further to your consent, the legal basis for data processing is Article 6 (1a) of the REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC. Any personal data you provided will be processed for the above purposes until the consent is revoked. You have a right to offer a complaint to the personal data protection supervisory body if you believe that personal data processing by the Data Controller constitutes a breach of data protection laws. Your personal data will not be transferred to foreign countries. Your data will not be processed in an automated manner and will not be subject to profiling. You have a right to access the content of your data, and to correct it or delete it, restrict the processing, as well as the right to transfer the data and to revoke the consent at any time without affecting the compliance of the processing completed before the consent was revoked.
